PUNCAK - The Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, one of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command (KOOPS TNI) in Papua, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Puncak Regency area, Papua Tengah Province. On Thursday, 25 July 2024.
The 323 Task Forces, especially the Mayuberi Post led by First Lieutenant Yudo, invited children from Mayuberi Village, North Ilaga District, to join activities to commemorate National Children Day. This activity is implemented in the form of providing additional learning material for Elementary School (SD) age children who live near Mayuberi Post, as well as several field games.
Utilizing an Emergency School at the Mayuberi Post, the Soldiers have planned and prepared equipment and supplies to support the smooth running of activities. Since early morning, the children who live around the Post have flocked to the Post accompanied by their parents. The Post Commander and the Mayuberi Post Soldiers warmly welcomed the enthusiasm of the children wearing full uniforms.
Before starting the activity, 1LT Yudo expressed his thanks for the enthusiasm and presence of the children at the activity on that Thursday morning. Furthermore, Yudo also invited the children to study diligently to achieve their goals in the future. A series of activities to commemorate the Children Day were conducted in delivering lesson materials and several field games. The field games were to provide training about teamwork or small-team collaboration as a provision for unity and integrity. The varied activities were presented with enthusiasm and joy from all the children. After the activity, a child named Alex Murib, said "Thank you Om Tentara (Soldier), we have a birthday celebration at Post 323. God bless".

"The initiative of the 323 Task Forces to hold National Children Day commemoration at the Mayuberi Post, is an effort by the TNI to provide basic necessities services, especially education for school-age children, to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region, " said the KOOPS TNI Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, upon receiving the program report.
